Ancient Words & Living Faith

3 May, 2026 - 31 May, 2026

Join us for an eight-week journey titled "Ancient Words & Living Faith," as we explore the essentials of the Christian faith as summarized in the Apostles' Creed. Understanding the Creed as a historical summary that points us back to Scripture, this series aims to bridge the gap between orthodoxy (right belief) and orthopraxy (right practice). Each week includes practical applications, challenging us to move beyond intellectual assent to a life of radical dependence and sacrificial love. You may read the Apostles' Creed here. The artwork for this sermon series is an image of a Tapestry of the Apostles’ Creed from Europe (1550–1600 AD). Each of the fifteen compartments in this tapestry contains a single scene representing an article of the Apostles’ Creed. The tapestry is part of the MET Collection (see here).
