Introducing Ronell Drapeza
We are pleased to announce Ronell Drapeza will be joining our team as part-time Pastor of Worship, effective April 8, 2024.
Ronell started attending Greenfield in August of 2023 with his wife. He is passionate about worship and creative arts, spiritual formation, and theology within the local church. Before Greenfield, he had been working in non-profits. He has recently begun the long journey of an MA in Spiritual Care/Chaplaincy from Providence Seminary, has a BA from The King’s University, and a music certificate from Vanguard College. He enjoys reading and learning, riding a slow 50cc moped, watching comedy specials, playing/watching basketball, producing music, spending time with community, and eating pho. He is married to Anna and has a cat named “Pastor Allendale.”

Greenfield Community Church offers a tuition bursary to members or adherents of Greenfield Community Church to nurture and explore their faith as they pursue higher education in a Christian post-secondary institution.

Revelation: Following the Way of the Lamb
The book of Revelation is confusing and controversial, frustrating and fascinating. It is a book that has elicited speculation and numerous bizarre readings and interpretations over the centuries, and most people (and churches) tend to ignore it.
The focus of our teaching this fall at Greenfield will be the book of Revelation as we begin a new sermon series called, “Revelation: Following the Way of the Lamb.” Our sermon series will include Study Sheets and in addition, we will have copies of Professor Michael Gorman’s book, Reading Revelation Responsibly for sale at the Welcome Centre for $30 (or you can buy it here). In addition to the sermon series, we are holding a two-session Adult Education Course on the Book of Revelation on Sunday October 15 and 22, 5:30-8:00 pm. This course will feature teaching by Tyler Williams, Ralph Korner (Taylor Seminary/Kairos University), and Brian Irwin (Knox College, University of Toronto). Fall Kick Off BBQ & Potluck
Join us on Sunday September 10th after the morning service for a BBQ & Potluck in our lot. Hamburgers and hotdogs and beverages will be supplied. Bring a large dessert or salad to share (and a lawn chair!).
