Gregg has been at Greenfield since the Renaissance Community Church merger in 2014, and he and Catherine are involved in ministries such as counting offering, serving coffee, co-leading a Dave Ramsey money series, and so on. Gregg currently serves on several Christian organization boards (Arrow International Leadership, Mustard Seed) as well as some corporate boards. He chaired the Taylor Seminary (now KAIROS University) board, and runs his own consulting business – Predictable Futures Inc – which helps private companies manage succession. When he is not working, you can find him running in the trails or cycling. He and Catherine have two adult children.

N’makaba started attending Greenfield in March of 2017 in the hopes of deepening her relationship with God. During her time at Greenfield, she has served as a Sunday school teacher and helped out with VBS while participating in some Ladies Bible studies and the CORE3 Discipleship Journey. N’makaba accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour and was baptized at Greenfield in April of 2019. Away from Greenfield, N’makaba is a first-year elementary teacher, she enjoys taking language classes mostly to hear the stories behind the cultures.

Sheldon has been a Greenfield attendee since 1998 when his family moved to Edmonton from his home province of Saskatchewan (Go ‘Riders!). During that time he has served in several positions including care group leader, Sunday school teacher, ministry council member, and prayer team member. Sheldon has Bachelor degrees from Briercrest Bible College and the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to moving to Edmonton, Sheldon worked as teacher at the junior and senior high school levels for several years. Since moving to Edmonton he has worked as a business advisory consultant, supporting organizations with their financial software systems. Sheldon enjoys a variety of games and sporting endeavours including curling. He has been married to Jeanette for over 35 years and is proud to be dad to Jordan and Kristin. Sheldon enjoys working as part of a team and collaborating with others in service.

Since joining Greenfield in March 2022, Roger and his wife Paw Law have embraced the community with enthusiasm. He has been actively involved in various church activities, including completing CORE3 and serving on the greeter team. Roger’s background in non-profit work with Young Life, where he passionately shared the message of Christ with teenagers, has equipped him with valuable skills in relational ministry. Currently, as a Personal Banker at ATB, he channels his passion for helping others into financial guidance and support. Outside of work and church, Roger finds joy in his love for football (soccer) and his interest in personal finance. Eager to contribute his financial acumen and servant heart to the board at Greenfield, Roger is excited to be serving alongside fellow believers and making a meaningful impact on the community.

Greenfield Church has been a foundational part of Shea's life since 2020. It is the community that was instrumental in his coming to faith, and that personal experience drives his desire to serve on the Ministry Council. Having been welcomed and mentored at Greenfield, he is deeply motivated to help ensure that others who walk through the doors have that same life-changing experience of grace and community. Shea has been involved in Youth and Alpha ministries. He is currently working on a Master of Arts in Theology. He and his wife, Kaitlyn, are fully committed to the life of the church.

Josh has been attending Greenfield Community Church since 2014. Josh attends church with his wife Cari, son Jake, and daughter Willa. Josh grew up in the Baptist Church (out east) and is pleased to consider himself a part of the Greenfield Community Church family. Josh is from Nova Scotia but has lived in Edmonton since 2013. Prior to living in Edmonton, Josh completed his master’s degree in Isafjordur, Iceland and worked for the Inuvialuit Land Claim Government in Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories. Josh currently works as a Director of Stakeholder Engagement in Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors. Josh likes being a part of the Ministry Council and seeing the ways in which God can work through him to the benefit of the church community.

The Metcalfe family began attending Greenfield in 2014, as a result of the merge with Renaissance Community Church. Since that time, Melody has helped with nursery, kid's camp, women’s Bible studies and small groups ministry. Melody and Kevin have two adult daughters (accompanied by two sons-in law), and one adult son (who is engaged and bringing a daughter-in-law into the mix). They have just become the very proud grandparents of their very first grandchild! Melody is a certified Elementary classroom teacher, and after many years decided to shift roles. She is currently employed with Edmonton Public as an EA, a position she enjoys immensely, working alongside students who need extra support. Mel’s interests and passions include long walks with her husband, reading, writing, connecting with friends & family, prayer, gardening, and volunteering with Safe Families.

Conni was raised by parents who spent most of their lives in Christian ministry and was baptized by her grandfather at age 11. After high school, she attended Peace River Bible Institute, earning a diploma in Christian Studies before returning to Edmonton and marrying her husband, Brian (they joke he won the arm wrestle when choosing which church to attend), and settling at Greenfield over 20 years ago. At home, Conni runs a photography and wedding videography business while raising four great kids (two of whom are now adults). Over the years, she has served in various ministry areas, including youth and Ladies Morning Out—first at Ellerslie Road Baptist, and later with the LMO program at Greenfield. She is deeply thankful for the Greenfield community and for how God has faithfully used the people at Greenfield to speak into her life through many transitions and seasons.

Bente Roycroft has been attending Greenfield Community Church since 2014. She is married to Mike, and they have a truly exceptional Boston Terrier, Lady McDuff. Bente is a business owner of a managed IT services company, and has served on several boards including The Christmas Bureau, Eating Disorder Support Network of Alberta, and Business and Professional Women of Edmonton.

Corinne has been a member at Greenfield for most of her life, her parents being chartered members who helped start the church. Corinne has served the church in a variety of roles over the years including Sunday School teacher, youth leader, and different positions on the church Ministry Council. She has served on a variety of community boards throughout her life and at present is on the International Advisory Board for Chain of Love in Brazil, and is a Meals on Wheels driver. She recently retired from a lifetime career in not for profit and government continuing care services and is enjoying waking up to every day being Saturday.
