The following individuals have been approved for nomination to serve on the Ministry Council. They will be brought to the membership for a vote of affirmation at our Congregational Business Meeting on June 2, 2024.

Roger Goulden (Treasurer)
Since joining Greenfield in March 2022, Roger and his wife Paw Law have embraced the community with enthusiasm. He has been actively involved in various church activities, including completing CORE3 and serving on the greeter team. Roger’s background in non-profit work with Young Life, where he passionately shared the message of Christ with teenagers, has equipped him with valuable skills in relational ministry. Currently, as a Personal Banker at ATB, he channels his passion for helping others into financial guidance and support. Outside of work and church, Roger finds joy in his love for football (soccer) and his interest in personal finance. Eager to contribute his financial acumen and servant heart to the board at Greenfield, Roger looks forward to serving alongside fellow believers and making a meaningful impact on the community.

Joshua Mackintosh (Member-at-large)
My name is Josh Mackintosh and I have been attending Greenfield Community Church since 2013/14. I attend church with my wife Cari, son Jake, and daughter Willa. I grew up in the Baptist Church (out east) and am pleased to consider myself a part of the Greenfield Community Church family. I am from Nova Scotia and have lived in Edmonton since 2013. Prior to living in Edmonton, I completed my master’s degree in Isafjordur, Iceland and worked for the Inuvialuit Land Claim Government in Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories. I currently work as a Director of Policy in Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors. I look forward to being a part of the Ministry Council and seeing the ways in which God can work through me to the benefit of the church community.

Cailey Mrochuk (Member-at-large)
My husband Ryan and I have been members of Greenfield for 10 years. I have worked and volunteered in kids ministry, and have been volunteering with the worship team (playing guitar) for a number of years. Our younger two teens attend youth group, the oldest is also on the worship team. Within the last few years I have completed CORE3 and Stephen Ministry training. This year I started volunteering once a week at the Mustard Seed’s art drop in program here in the city. I also use my artistic talents in leading a yearly paint party for the youth group and occasionally helping with mission trip fundraisers. For work I am the shipper/receiver at a car dealership. I am happy to serve where God calls me and I hope that my joy, my creativity and my volunteerism will all be of benefit to the Ministry Counsel, the staff and my brothers and sisters in Christ

Bente Roycroft (Member-at-large)
Bente Roycroft has been a member of Greenfield Community Church for several years (though the exact time frame is entirely lost on her). She has been involved in the Stephen Ministry program and many of the choirs, and volunteers when possible with year-end financial audits, spring clean-ups, and other mentorship activities as requested. Bente was raised in a loving, believing family (by Karen and Aksel), and accepted Jesus into her life at a young age. She was baptized at Bayridge Alliance Church in Kingston, Ontario as a young girl, and now as an adult, she continues to look for ways to feed her faith in God, and relationships with Him and her neighbours. She lives in Aspen Gardens with her new husband, Michael, her deeply loved dog Lady McDuff (“Duff”), and part-time with her two stepchildren Andrew (15), and Jillian (14). Bente is a business owner of a managed IT services company, Accurate Network Services, based in Edmonton and Calgary. She has an MBA from UofA, and an English degree from Queen’s University. She is currently a business coach for new entrepreneurs, and has served on several boards including The Christmas Bureau, Eating Disorder Support Network of Alberta, and Business and Professional Women of Edmonton.
