Sunday Gathering
Through our time of corporate worship, we all participate in a number of practices that all help point us to God our Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit: reading Scripture, singing songs of praise, times of confession, the Lord’s Supper, among other things. We learn about God’s story and how are now participating in that narrative of love and redemption in our world. We hear one another’s stories and how God is living and active in the lives and neighbourhoods of our community. And we seek to be transformed by God and his Word so that we are then ready to be sent out into our daily lives, bearing the witness of Christ and example of his love in every interaction and relationship we have. All are welcome at Greenfield!
There are a number of ways to serve on Sunday mornings, like ushering, greeting people as they walk in, doing sound, playing music on the teams, reading Scripture, and more. We also have a number of special seasonal opportunities that serve to creatively enhance our worship expression, like the Christmas orchestra, Easter choir, or special children’s presentations.
If you are interested in serving in any of these roles or would like more information, please contact Pastor Tyler.
