Prior to being called to full time ministry, Les worked in the banking industry for over 27 years. He attended Rocky Mountain College in Calgary, where he earned a Diploma in Christian Leadership with an emphasis in Youth Work. Upon completion of his studies, he and his wife Cheryl moved to Edmonton to serve at Greenfield as Youth Pastor, a position which was held for seven years. In 2009 he moved into his current role as Associate Pastor serving in Adult Ministries and Pastoral Care. He is passionate about walking with people through every stage of life. Les enjoys drumming whether it is on a worship team Sunday morning, playing with a big band, or a 60’s rock band.
Cheryl began ministry, along with her husband Les, at Greenfield in 2002 in a unique partnership of two individuals serving in one position. Her previous experience in the financial industry combined with her Diploma in Christian Leadership from Rocky Mountain College have been beneficial in her positions of Youth Pastor (7 years) and Associate Pastor (current position). Her desire is to serve others in their life journeys and equip them to use their God given gifts to serve the Lord in a life-long purpose filled manner. In her spare time she loves spending time with her children and grandchildren.
